Kelli Grant is the senior personal finance editor for CNBC, where she covers money management, financial planning and consumer spending. Grant is a Certified Financial Planner® professional.
In her time at CNBC, Kelli has also held the roles of deputy personal finance editor; senior editor at Grow, which was part of CNBC’s partnership with Acorns; and personal finance reporter. Prior to joining CNBC, she was the senior consumer reporter for MarketWatch and SmartMoney. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, SmartMoney, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple and Family Circle, among other publications.
Kelli holds a master’s degree in personal financial planning from Kansas State University. She graduated with honors from Ithaca College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and anthropology.
